The City of Naperville is a Council-Manager form of government providing services that ensure a high quality of life, sound fiscal management, and a dynamic business environment while creating an inclusive community that values diversity. The City Council includes the Mayor and eight Council members elected at large for 4-year terms. Eight candidates are running for the four open council seats in this election cycle. The seven-member board of education is responsible for 22 public schools. The mission of Naperville School District 203 is to empower students to develop a learner’s mindset, demonstrate adaptability, communicate effectively, think critically, and become global citizens.
