Meet the Candidates for Naperville’s 2025 Consolidated Election

On Tuesday, April 1, 2025, Naperville voters will head to the polls to elect leaders in four key local races:

  • Naperville City Council
  • Indian Prairie School District 204 Board of Education
  • Naperville School District 203 Board of Education
  • Naperville Park District Board of Commissioners

As part of NCTV17’s commitment to keeping the community informed, each candidate was invited to participate in a TV interview to share their platform. Every candidate was asked the same questions. Click on a candidate’s name below to watch their interview.

Live Candidate Forums

In addition to individual interviews, NCTV17 will host live candidate forums at the station, moderated by Mark Wright. He will be joined by Nicki Anderson for the City Council forum. The City of Naperville is a Council-Manager form of government providing services that ensure a high quality of life, sound fiscal management, and a dynamic business environment while creating an inclusive community that values diversity. The City Council includes the Mayor and eight Council members elected at large for 4-year terms. Eight candidates are running for the four open council seats in this election cycle. Candidates are listed in alphabetical order.

The seven-member board of education is responsible for 22 public schools. The mission of Naperville School District 203 is to empower students to develop a learner’s mindset, demonstrate adaptability, communicate effectively, think critically, and become global citizens. Five candidates are running for four open seats in this election cycle. Each board member serves a 4-year term. Candidates are listed in alphabetical order.

The seven-member board of education is responsible for 33 public schools. The mission of Indian Prairie School District 204 is to inspire all students to achieve their greatest potential. Each board member serves a 4-year term. Five candidates are running for the four open seats in this election cycle. Candidates are listed in alphabetical order.

The Naperville Park District is an independent municipal agency. Their mission is to provide park and recreation experiences that promote healthy lives, healthy minds, and a healthy community. The Board of Commissioners includes seven members, each elected to a 4-year term. Six candidates are running for four open seats in this election cycle. Candidates are listed in alphabetical order.

New this year, NCTV17 is hosting live candidate forums at the station, giving you the opportunity to hear directly from local candidates on key community issues. Mark Wright will be moderating the forums.  Nicki Anderson will join him as co-host for the City Council forum. You can watch them live at NCTV17.org and then on demand the following day below.
