Community Health Fair
On Saturday, the Islamic Center of Naperville and Community United Methodist Church partnered up for the third year to host their free community health fair. The event provided free screenings for anyone 18 and older who don’t have health insurance. People were able to get their blood pressure and blood glucose checked, basic eye and dental exams, and more.
“Sacred” Event
And on Sunday, Dr. Sangita Rangala from Edward Hospital in Naperville and the Edward Foundation hosted “Sacred,” a live Indian dance event to help raise awareness and money for the hospital’s Care Center. The Center provides services for sexually abused children. They hope to raise $100,000 from the event, which will be used to help train sexual abuse nurse examiners.
Rutter’s Record
Congratulations to Neuqua Valley graduate Broc Rutter on his record setting performance on Saturday.
