About Cress Creek Garden Club of Naperville
Cress Creek Garden Club of Naperville was founded in 1975 to generate garden interest, develop horticulture knowledge, and support conservation efforts. It was started by a group of neighbors, and has since grown to include members from both Naperville and 12 surrounding communities.
The club does garden work at the Paw Paw Post Office at Naper Settlement, the parking lot entrance of the DuPage Children’s Museum, and the Veterans Park garden.
Through fundraising, the club is also able to offer scholarships, participate in garden therapy at Arista Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and donate to non-profit organizations in the local community.
The group has its 48th annual Make It. Bake It. fundraiser coming up on Nov. 3 at the Bolingbrook Golf Club.
