Summer Sculptures
The dog days of summer are nearly here.
The Downtown Naperville Alliance’s annual summer sculptures are about to embark on their placements around the center of our city.
“So there will be 20 painted sculptures revealed on Friday, May 31 and they’ll be up through the middle part of September. And they’ve all been sponsored by local businesses and painted by local artisans and we’re just so excited for the community to see these this year.”
About the Dogs
The dog breeds range from Labradors, Newfoundlands, and a couple Huskies.
The Department of Public Works also designed special grassy pedestals to go along with the canine theme.
And remember don’t be ruff, and refrain from climbing on the sculptures.
You can find a map for every sculpture’s location on Downtown Naperville’s website.
