The focus was on unique programming and services at District 203’s latest Focus 203 community engagement session.
Presenters highlighted the five special services the district offers for students, those being early childhood education, alternative learning opportunities, the gifted and talented program, dual language, and the connections program.
“I think it’s that commitment that we have to make sure that we value the uniqueness of every student and that we find a pathway for them. And that we have all kinds of services in place and that our goal really is on how do we make it best for all kids,” said Dr. Christine Igoe, 203’s assistant superintendent for student services.
Parents, students, and community members in attendance worked on a group activity to find improvements that can be made to 203’s unique programming.
If you missed this Focus 203 session a full video of the presentation will be posted on the district website.
