Naperville Responds for Veterans held their annual “Strength and Honor” luncheon recently to give thanks to those who served our country.
The not-for-profit works to repair, improve and donate homes to veterans in need of ADA assistance in their Naperville homes.
With their largest crowd yet, over 150 veterans from around the area were welcomed to the event at the Embassy Suites Naperville to be acknowledged for their service.
“The reason that this event is so special is it puts the veterans that we serve right in front of the people that support our organization and it give us an opportunity to reach out and thank all of the veterans in the area that we can get to attend our event,” said Dan Jurjovec, President of Naperville Responds for Veterans.
Naperville Responds to Veterans assists about 25 veterans annually through their program.
