Taking the bus is about to get a lot easier for District 204 students.
At the latest board meeting, plans to roll out Versatrans My Stop were announced.
The new technology will provide navigation for bus drivers and help them avoid traffic caused by accidents or road closures.
There’s also a smartphone app, My Stop, that will let parents and students track the buses, and give them a constantly updated ETA – so they can know when the bus is running late.
The new software comes at no cost to the district.
