The Naperville Park District recently received some feedback on their upcoming projects.
An open house at the Fort Hill Activity Center brought in over two-dozen people to learn about upcoming projects from the park district.
Staff had information about several proposed 2019 capital projects on hand, including playground renovations, maintenance at the Frontier Sports Complex, and development of the Southwest Community Park.
Residents also gave their input on the projects to staff.
“New improvements may be the addition of a bike rack or a trash receptacle, or a new product like a bleacher on a sports complex. It helps us come up with designs and budgets for the capital improvement projects,” said Eric Shutes, Director of Planning for the park district.
If you weren’t able to attend the open house but want to give feedback, you can view the plans online and email the park district.
