One benefit to the cold weather – Naperville’s outdoor ice rinks finally opened up.
After an unseasonably warm start to winter, the influx of cold air allowed the Naperville Park District to finally open up the outdoor ice rinks.
Ice skating season will continue until February 15, but the rinks do start to melt as temperatures climb into the mid-thirties.
If you want to hit the ice, always be sure to check the park district’s cancellations page to confirm the rinks are open.
