The DuPage Children’s Museum is seeking donations for a new exhibit.
If you have an unwanted instrument, the museum is looking to give it new life as part of their exhibit “Art is Instrumental.”
They are accepting all types of instruments in a variety of conditions that will then be used as decoration or as an interactive element in the exhibit itself.
“Art is Instrumental” is will open in November and will be at the museum until 2019.
“We take feedback form our audience and we know that after our renovation in 2015 we removed our sounds and music area and we got a lot of feedback at the time that people missed it. And so we’ve been trying to figure out a way to bring music and instrumentation back into the museum,” said Director of Exhibits and Operations, Kimberly Stull.
To make a donation call the DuPage Children’s Museum at (630) 637-8000. The deadline for donations is Friday, September 22.
