At their most recent luncheon, the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce honored the recipients of its Four under 40 achievement awards.
“I personally am not worried at all about the future of our community because we have some amazing people. And we’re very proud of what our past leaders have done, what our current leaders are doing, but we are thrilled about what our future leaders are doing,” said Nicki Anderson, the president and CEO of the chamber.
This year’s recipients were Kristin Giannini from Topgolf, Raj Patel from The Hari Group, Omar Sandoval from the Naperville Park District, and AdreAnne Tesene from Two Bostons.
All four agreed that with this award in hand, they hope to encourage more community engagement.
“I hope it inspires people to want to get more involved and try to do more than they can or as much as they can really,” said Sandoval, the IT director for the park district.
“I would encourage people to get involved. Naperville is such an amazing community. There’s so much to do. There’s so much to get involved with,” said Giannini, a platinum sales manager at Topgolf
“Continue to give back, continue to encourage a lot of the 203 students, 204 students, to stay involved in the community and to definitely get involved because Naperville is a special place in my heart and everyone else’s as well,” said Patel, the president of The Hari Group.
The Four Under 40 awards are given those who demonstrate leadership in business and community and excellence in career and balance in life.
“You know everyone has a lot of ideas, but it’s different whether or not you’re going to put those into place,” added owner of Two Bostons Tesene. So to be able to say that yes we have done certain things and we also have plans to continue to do different activities and different projects for the future is really huge.”
This was the Naperville Area Chamber Of Commerce’s third annual Four Under 40 achievement award.
