It’s a frustrating part of holiday decorating to discover lights that worked last year refuse to light up now.
But instead of just tossing them in the trash, you can recycle them thanks to the City of Naperville and the Naperville Park District.
The park district is collecting lights at the Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center, Fort Hill Activity Center, and at Knoch Knolls Nature Center.
The city has collection boxes in its Electronics Recycling Center on Fort Hill Drive and in the lunchroom of the municipal center.
All colors of mini-lights, C7, C9, rope lights, LEDs, and extension cords are being accepted.
